What is the big deal about it being the first condominium built in Singapore in 1974? What is the big deal about it having large balconies? What is the big deal about it having a bungalow in the air concept? What is the big deal about it having spacious interior? All these are history. Nobody cares about such things anymore. Beverly Mai is no more. It is history. Saving it is out of the question. En-bloc sales went through few years ago. Today it is in the mist of demolition. A piece of history gone? Sad? All in the name of progress. No point being sad. It is gone, never will it return. Only from photos and memories from its once residents.
Maybe one fine day we will start building such projects with spacious living interiors once again.
