All things circle
I think humans love things that are in the shape of circle. The big bowl at MBS is circular. The little hole from the bowl is circular. Coins are circular. The whirlpool created is also circular.
People throw coins into the big circular bowl, hoping it will drop into the small circular hole and land into the pond beneath (which is also circular in shape). People also talked across the circular bowl for a certain excitement, as the other side can hear. All these really excites people. Every coin threw, every word spoke... All these happened because of that circular thing at MBS.
When the water starts flowing in anti-clockwise, washing all the coins into the pond beneath, people watched in awe too.
I was attracted to this circular thing, which resulted in my findings and conclusion that humans love things that are circle. It was a show that lasted about 20 minutes. Watch a video of it here.
Somehow that water doesn't looks clean. And this bowl is not meant for coins...or maybe it was? I do wonder whether that artist who created this has thought of people throwing coins into it.
