Fifteenth or sixteenth?
I've heard people saying that the moon is rounder, bigger and brighter on the 16th rather than the 15th of August, according to the Lunar Calendar. Regardless of that point being fact or fiction, I am glad I finally saw the moon during this mid-autumn period. For some strange reason, I believe many cannot deny the fact that something seems to be missing if one is not able to at least catch a glimpse of the moon during this period.. And the legend goes about a lady and a bunny living in the moon. I wonder how are they doing in the moon.

Moving on, the Fountain of Wealth was recently reopened after the mall's recent major makeover since it was opened in the 1990s. Despite the mall still being in the midst of refurbishment, the areas that are completed do excites shoppers, especially what many would agree being the focal point of the mall - Fountain of Wealth.
Today, dinning establishments located at the basement of the mall that surrounds the fountain are even closer to the water feature than before. Now, a floor to ceiling height see-through clear glass is the only thing that separates the diners and the water feature. Also, LED technology was installed into this fountain as part of the refurbishment project. I find this LED technology being seriously amazing. It's almost everywhere today, impressively lighting up buildings and structures, making them a visual treat.

As news spread about the reopened Fountain of Wealth with its latest LED technology, I believe people such as photography enthusiast will soon start flocking to the area with their advanced equipment, with the aim of capturing the most stunning and spectacular images of the fountain. Coincidentally, today's papers do have a 2 page spread about the mall.
I do wonder whether they still have the song and laser lighting message dedication for this 'new' Fountain of Wealth. Back then, this was quite stunning too. I think the idea was somewhat similar to the laser light show at the nearby Marina Bay Sands which is on daily (or weekly?). The main difference that sets both apart is the former being one in a much smaller scale.
