River Hongbao 2014

How time flies. As I'm typing this, it's almost the end of Day 3 of Chinese New Year 2014. And to emphasis how fast time flew by, I do feel like not long ago it was Chinese New Year 2013. Although I don't quite remember the exact happenings of 2013's Chinese New Year, it just feels not long ago.

I'm thinking of typing an entry that could be considered as personal thoughts to today's Chinese New Year, which if it does materialise, would be posted at a later time. For now, just a few pictures of the fireworks display from 2014's River Hongbao Light-up ceremony.

To sum up the display, nothing spectacular compared to other fireworks display throughout the year, and far from what Hong Kong had for its Chinese Year New fireworks display on Day 2 of the occasion. But nothing to be disappointed about. Instead, I did enjoy the simplicity of it and the slightly clutter-free of bursts, making it possible to admire the patterns from every burst. There's a video towards the end too.
