Clouds and sunset

Before I start an entry with nothing but fireworks, let's take a look at two not-that-stunning sunsets. There's something about clouds and sunset; they're complicated.

Clouds and sunset can be a beautiful combination, but this combination is not an everyday occurrence. Some days the clouds just aren't enough, other days, they're just way too thick. And for the remaining days, probably just the right amount of clouds to create a stunning scene. With just the right amount of clouds, combining the last few rays of sunlight of the day, it's a sight that's difficult not to make one feel the awe and beautiful of our mother nature. And to assume this will last, it's definitely a wrong assumption. In fact, I've realised that this gold/orange sunsetting moment last for about 10 to 20 minutes. Within this period of time, one could see that every moment is different with the sun moving down to who knows where. After which, we welcome the "blue hour" before the sun fully sets and we're into nighttime.

Next time, if you happened to be somewhere with a view of sunset, why not take sometime to observe this beautiful moment?
