A new addition, one that's temporary

Archifest is back for its 10th edition. It's amazing how long this festival has been around and it's even more amazing that I still don't have a certainty to what the festival is really about.

One of the main highlights of the festival since 2012 is the Archifest Pavilion. This year's pavilion happens to be located in a densely populated location - in the heart of our Central Business District (CBD). It's not as if the area isn't packed enough on a typical workday, and now, there's this 22 metres tall structure put together by mainly scaffolding pipes, plywood and colourful safety net.

However, it's definitely an interesting addition to the CBD. Go, take a walk in and explore the structure. I must say that such pop-up places for exploration and relaxation is important as it allows a form of "escape" from a certain monotony.

It was under-construction. See the massiveness of the pavilion!

I've got to say I prefer the view of the under-construction pavilion where the safety nets have yet to be put in place. With just the pipes, we're still able to see the buildings on the other side through the pipes, but the view is blocked with the nets.
