What a blue day
Today is a blue day. It's not a feeling, instead it is a day of visual impact. The sky was filled in a color named blue with random cloud patterns. Although the sun has set, the visual impact of today did not end...did you notice that round big moon of tonight? I'm not crazily catching every moment of the day, so no moon here.
Some of the photos here might be showing a really blue sky...although no doubt the sky was blue, it was only later did I found out that the mode was set to 'vivid color'. That explains why the sky looks so blue on screen. And not to forget, all was also given a slight pinch of magical photo editing dust.
This trip was not only about the blue sky. It turned out to be an informative one. There are such informative boards along the bridge that tells of the area's past, present and what was meant to be future when it was just written.
The Southern Islands land area totals to about 5.58 sq km and are maintain by Sentosa. It was in 1968 that the Government decided to develop Sentosa into what we see today, which it is still developing to what seems like no end. 1968 was also the year whereby the idea of having cable car linking from Mount Faber to Sentosa came about. And the cable car was actually first in the world to span across a harbour. These are facts that majority of us can survive without knowing, but sure they are interesting facts (at least to me).
